I am happy to announce that a new release of Barrel is out.
Lot of work have been done sine the last release.
The view changes is now fixed and you’re now able to get the changes when a document is removed from a view. You can also ignore it using the new parameter
ignore_removed_docs. Replication using a view change as a filter is also here of course. Changes feeds have also been improved to be faster. A new hook system has been added. The
_bulk_get feature is also here obviously since it was written in rcouch long time ago.
This is still a work in progress and the documentation needs to be written.
You can notice the new versioning system here. It reflects the iterative process behind that will now be used to release the new versions of barrel. It is quite similar to the semantic versioning, dots removed.
What changes will the next version bring?
For a preview of what is coming in the next version, try a work version via a branch when available.
If you want to discuss new features you can do it via the forum. Accepted features will result in a new ticket to track its development.
Any help is appreciated, so feel free to open a ticket on the tracker or send us a PR.
